My stay at Belver Beta Porto Hotel was pretty disappointing overall. The check-in took a long time and my room had a musty smell, plus the fridge didn't work at all. On the bright side, the public areas were clean and the staff were friendly, which helped a bit.

Rooms
5.0
My room was fairly large, but it was really outdated. The bed was comfortable enough, but there were missing plugs and the shower door didn't seal properly, causing water to pool on the floor.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and did help when I complained about a noisy room, switching me to a quieter one. It was nice to see that they cared about guest comfort.
Location
5.0
The hotel is quite far from downtown Porto. It took about 30 euros for a taxi from the airport, but I appreciated the bus service nearby that was cheap, allowing me to reach the city center for a couple of euros.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was decent but pretty basic. I found the hot food options lacking and the chaotic setup made it hard to find a seat during busy times.
Facilities
5.0
The common areas of the hotel were acceptably clean, though I didn't have much interest in the pool due to some unpleasant smells. The overall facilities seemed old and in need of an upgrade.

6.8/10

I spent three days at Belver Beta Porto Hotel, and while the staff were friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable, I found the hotel's condition very disappointing. The decor and facilities felt outdated, and there were significant cleanliness issues in my room. The location made it necessary to rely on public transportation to navigate Porto, which was inconvenient for me. 🌆😟

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but showed signs of needing upkeep, especially with mold and odor issues. I couldn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off due to the lack of cleanliness.
Service
5.0
The staff were courteous and helpful, which made the difficult aspects of my stay slightly better. They were accommodating during check-in despite some operational delays.
Location
5.0
The hotel was about a half-hour bus ride to downtown Porto. It wasn't within walking distance, which added inconvenience to my trips into the city.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were decent, though the dining area often felt crowded and messy. I appreciated that the food was satisfactory but wished for a more comfortable dining experience.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had several facilities, including a pool, but I found them underwhelming and inconvenient due to strange rules, like needing to buy a shower cap to use the pool.

I had an interesting stay at Belver Beta Porto Hotel. While the staff were super friendly and the common areas were clean, I faced a few issues, like uncomfortable bedding and a not-so-ideal location far from the city center. The breakfast was decent, but it lacked variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions.

Rooms
5.0
My room was clean upon arrival, but I found it a bit cramped and oddly arranged. It had some smudges on the furniture, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The staff were really helpful and friendly, but at times seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially during breakfast when there wasn't enough help to clear tables.
Location
5.0
The hotel is quite far from the city, taking about 30 euros by taxi from the airport. Although there's a bus that goes into town for just 3.30 euros, it can be really packed.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were alright, but the choices didn't cater well for dietary needs. The dining room felt crowded, and the quality of evening meals seemed a bit pricey for what you get.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some nice facilities like a pool, which added a bit of charm, but overall it felt like it needed more investment to truly feel like a great place.

6.2/10

My stay at Belver Beta Porto Hotel was a mixed experience. While the breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were friendly, the hotel itself felt outdated and needed some caring. The room issues I faced, including mold and an unready check-in, detracted from my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
5.0
I faced issues with mold in both rooms I stayed in. The air conditioning in one room didn't work, and I had to wait until the afternoon for the new room to be ready. Spaciousness was a plus, but the cleanliness left much to be desired.
Service
6.0
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, even offering a complimentary dinner and wine after a check-in mix-up. However, they seemed overwhelmed during peak times, leading to some frustrations.
Location
5.0
The hotel is quite far from downtown Porto, about a 40-minute walk, which made exploring the city a bit tedious. While there is a bus stop nearby, it can get very crowded, limiting the convenience.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were decent, and I enjoyed the food. However, the dining area felt cramped and wasn’t well-arranged for easy access. There was also limited variety to cater to dietary restrictions.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel offered various facilities like a pool, I found the necessity of buying a shower cap to use it quite odd. Parking was available but the value of other amenities was questionable given the overall experience.

During my stay at Belver Beta Porto Hotel, I found the cleanliness of the lobby and common areas to be a positive aspect. The staff were courteous, which made my experience a bit more pleasant. However, the hotel's outdated facilities really detracted from the overall experience. The noise from neighboring rooms and thin walls made it tough to get a good night's sleep.

Rooms
5.0
My room was fairly nice and comfortable, but definitely showed its age. It lacked modern amenities like a working fridge and kettle, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
While I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, there were instances where service was slow, like when I requested an extra pillow. Plus, they entered my room without knocking on the first day, which was quite surprising.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is a bit of a hassle. It's a long walk into town, though I did appreciate the nearby bus that took me directly into the city center.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were decent, but the dining space felt cramped. It often reminded me of a hospital cafeteria, lacking ambiance.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities, like the swimming pool and gym, felt outdated and not very inviting. I had hoped for a more modern experience but found it lacking overall.
